Jörn Wessels

Jörn Arne Wessels (born July 19, 1991 ) is a German basketball player. The 2.07 meter tall indoor player played four Bundesliga appearances for Braunschweig.

career

In 2008, Wessels made the leap into the men's team of Lower Saxony via the youth division of SG Braunschweig , which at that time  competed in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB . Until 2014 Wessels played in the team under the Romanian talent promoter Liviu Calin and also made it into the extended squad of the Braunschweig first division club (at the time New York Phantoms ), for which he made his first brief appearance in the basketball league in February 2011  and during the season 2013/14 completed three more games in the top German division.

In the 2014/15 season, Wessels strengthened the university giants Leipzig in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB. During the 2015/16 season he first played for SG MTV / BG Wolfenbüttel in the 2nd regional league, and from January 2016 also for the Dukes Wolfenbüttel in the ProB. In the 2016/17 game round, he was firmly in the line-up of the dukes.

In the summer of 2017, Wessels moved back to SG Braunschweig (now 2nd regional league).
