Jewish cemetery (Anspach)
The Jewish cemetery Anspach was a Jewish cemetery in Anspach , a district of Neu-Anspach in the Hochtaunus district in Hesse .
The Jewish cemetery of Anspach was located near the synagogue on the corner of Hohlweg and Neue Pforte. After it was fully occupied in 1863 and an extension was rejected by the civil parish because it was too close to the residential buildings, the Jewish cemetery in Anspach was closed and the Jewish residents of Anspach and Rod am Berg were buried in the Jewish cemetery in Wehrheim . After 1945, a residential house was built on the site. There are no more tombstones left. The name “Judenwasen” is a reminder of the cemetery .
