Jewish cemetery (Schotten)
The Jewish cemetery in Schotten , a community in the Vogelsbergkreis in Hesse , was established in the 17th century. The Jewish cemetery is in the west of the city on Julie-Herold-Straße.
history
The older graves can be found in the left part of the cemetery and the newer ones on the right. The cemetery is surrounded by a stone wall. On the 27.44 ares large area there are still 118 tombstones ( mazewot ) that date from 1695 to 1937.
