The Jewish cemetery in Storndorf , a district of Schwalmtal in the Vogelsbergkreis in Hesse , was built in the second half of the 18th century. The Jewish cemetery on the road to Meiches is a protected cultural monument .

history

The cemetery was first mentioned in 1800 as the "Jewish Garden". It has an area of ​​39.64 acres . Of the more than 100 grave sites, around 100 tombstones ( Mazewot ) have been preserved. The youngest legible tombstone is from 1934.
