Jewish cemetery in Hennef-Geistingen

The Jewish cemetery in Geistingen , a district of Hennef (Sieg) in the Rhein-Sieg-Kreis ( North Rhine-Westphalia ), is a 1,120 square meter cemetery before the Shoa existing Jewish community . It is located on Hermann-Levy-Strasse and is a listed building . The first occupation took place in 1860, the last burial in 1978. A total of 56 tombstones ( Mazewot ) still stand in the cemetery today .

The site is accessible during the day. According to the cemetery statutes, the facility is maintained by the city of Hennef.
