The Heimerzheim Jewish Cemetery is located in the Heimerzheim district of the Swisttal community in the Rhein-Sieg district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ). The cemetery has been a protected architectural monument since 1990 .

The Jewish cemetery on Dornbuschweg was occupied from 1822 to 1968 and has an area of around 1000 m². There are still twelve graves and ten tombstones ( mazewot ).

During the National Socialist era , the cemetery was devastated and the tombstones were sold to a stonemason in Bad Godesberg . Some of the tombstones were found and brought back in 1946. The cemetery was restored in 1960 by the community of Heimerzheim and repaired in 2007 by the community of Swisttal.

In 1981 the community erected a memorial stone in the cemetery. His inscription reads: "... they said, come, let's destroy them. Weed out your people and the name Israel should never be mentioned again", Psalms, chap. 83, verse 5, In memory of our Jewish citizens. Erected by the municipality of Swisttal on November 9, 1981 . In May 2019, an additional information board was inaugurated at the entrance to the cemetery on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Basic Law .
