Waldmohr Jewish cemetery
The Jewish cemetery Waldmohr is a cemetery in the local community of Waldmohr in the district of Kusel in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The Jewish cemetery is located in the communal cemetery on Friedhofstrasse.
The 100 m² cemetery has been occupied since the end of the 19th century. The gravestones , the number of which are not known, date from between 1899 and 1947. Before their burial site was laid out, the Jews in Waldmohr used the Gries cemetery .
In 1931 the cemetery was desecrated : numerous gravestones were destroyed and inscription plates were removed from grave monuments. Several stones were smeared with swastikas .
