Odenbach Jewish cemetery

The Jewish cemetery Odenbach is a cemetery in the local community of Odenbach in the district of Kusel in Rhineland-Palatinate . It stands as a cultural monument under monument protection .

The Jewish cemetery is located south of the village and to the east not far from the L 382 state road .

On the 940 m² large enclosed cemetery, which was probably created in 1845 and occupied until 1938, there are 50 (according to other sources 74) grave stones from sandstone , which have a large variety of shapes. In front of their own cemetery, the Odenbach Jews buried their dead in Meisenheim . Since 1973 there has been a collective grave with bones from the old cemetery in Lauterecken .
