Jürgen Bordanowicz

Jürgen Bordanowicz (* 1944 in Bromberg , German Reich ) is a contemporary painter .

His watercolors and collages , executed in charcoal or chalk, focus on the inside of the human being , his anatomy and body functions in coded form.

Jürgen Bordanowicz received a scholarship from the Hamburg Lichtwark Prize in 1976 for 1977 and a scholarship from the Karl Schmidt-Rottluff Foundation for the years 1980 to 1982 . In 1984 he took part in the exhibition From Here - Two Months of New German Art in Düsseldorf and in 2000, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Kunstverein Ingolstadt, in the Long Night of the Museums .

Since 1997 the Galerie Merkle in Stuttgart has exhibited Jürgen Bordanowicz's works alongside those of a few other artists such as Horst Antes , Christiaan Paul Damsté , Annegret Soltau and Hannes Steinert .

Bordanowicz currently lives in Hamburg.
