Jürgen Dennert

Jürgen Dennert (born August 6, 1935 in Stettin ; † January 4, 1970 in Hamburg ) was a German political scientist , journalist and author.

Dennert studied political science and philosophy at the University of Hamburg from 1958 and received his doctorate there in 1963 . He then worked as a research assistant at the University of Hamburg and completed his habilitation there in 1968. He wrote for the Deutsche Allgemeine Sonntagsblatt , a weekly newspaper published by the Evangelical Church . In addition, he was a member of the German Association for Political Science and devoted himself to his own journalistic activities. In 1963 and 1967 he received the Theodor Wolff Prize .
