Horslunde Kirke

Horslunde Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Lolland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Lollands Nørre Herred in what was then Maribo Amt , then to Ravnsborg Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Lolland Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

756 inhabitants live in the parish, 630 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church “Horslunde Kirke” is located in the parish.

On October 1, 2010, the former church district Nøbbet Kirkedistrikt in Horslunde Sogn became an independent Sogn Nøbbet Sogn with the abolition of the Danish church districts .

Neighboring communities are in the west Utterslev Sogn , in the southwest Løjtofte Sogn , in the south Nordlunde Sogn and Halsted Sogn , in the southeast Vesterborg Sogn and in the east Nøbbet Sogn . In the parish there is an enclave of the neighboring Utterslev Sogn to the west.
