Location of Gurreby Sogn in Lolland Municipality |
Gurreby Sogn is a former parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Lolland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Lollands Sønder Herred in what was then Maribo Amt , then to Højreby Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Lolland Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .
On November 27, 2016 Gurreby Sogn, Skovlænge Sogn and Søllested Sogn merged into Søllested-Skovlænge-Gurreby Sogn . This only applies to church issues. In its capacity as Matrikelsogne , i.e. as land register districts of the cadastral authority Geodatastyrelsen , such changes have not had any effect since the abolition of the Harden structure in 1970.
On July 1, 2016, 62 residents lived in the parish. In the parish is the church "Gurreby Kirke".
Neighboring communities were in the north-east Skovlænge Sogn, in the east Søllested Sogn, in the south Græshave Sogn , in the south-west Arninge Sogn and in the north-west Avnede Sogn .
