Maribo Domkirke

Maribo Domsogn Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in the town of Maribo on the island of Lolland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to the Harde Musse Herred in the then Maribo office , then to the Maribo municipality in the Storstrøms office , which was merged into the Lolland municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

Of the 5790 inhabitants of Maribo, 4632 live in the parish of Maribo Domsogn (as of January 1, 2020). The church “Maribo Domkirke” is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are in the south Bursø Sogn , in the southwest Hillested Sogn , in the west Østofte Sogn and in the north Hunseby Sogn , furthermore in the east neighboring Guldborgsund municipality Engestofte Sogn .
