Tirsted Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Lolland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Fuglse Herred in what was then Maribo Amt , then to Rødby Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which became part of Lolland Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .
The parish has 424 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Tirsted Kirke" is located in the parish.
Neighboring communities are Skørringe Sogn in the north, Nebbelunde Sogn in the east, Rødby Sogn in the south, Gloslunde Sogn in the west and Vejleby Sogn in the north-west . A small exclave of Tirsted Sogn is located in Skørringe Sogn, which is adjacent to the north.
