Jürgen Erbacher

Jürgen Erbacher (* 1970 in Hardheim ) is a theologian , political scientist and journalist . He is the ZDF correspondent for church issues. He is a member of the Society of Catholic Publishers

biography

Erbacher studied political science and Catholic theology in Freiburg im Breisgau and Rome . He worked for Vatican Radio until 2005 . Since 2005 he has been working as an editor at ZDF (ZDF editorial office “Church and Life Catholic”) and reports on the subjects of the Pope , the Vatican , theology and the Roman Catholic Church . He works from Mainz for most of the month for ZDF, but commutes regularly between Mainz and Rome. Since September 2012 he has been in charge of the Vatican blog "Papstgeflüster". He tries to track down things that are going on around the Vatican and the Pope.
