Jürgen Gerlach (born July 11, 1963 in Iserlohn ) is a German civil engineer and traffic planner . He is a university professor at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal and head of the teaching and research area for road traffic planning and road traffic technology in the Transport Center of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

Gerlach completed his civil engineering studies at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal from 1983 to 1987 . His diploma thesis dealt with the handling of visitor traffic at the Olympic Games for the Olympic application Hamburg s 2004.
