Jürgen Coal (born January 5, 1943 ) is a former German football player .
Career
Jürgen coal played in the youth of the VfB Marathon Remscheid . With the senior team from Remscheider, coal became German amateur champions in 1968 , in the final he scored three goals against FC Wacker Munich and thus contributed significantly to the 5-3 win after extra time. Coal scored all three goals within overtime, it took him 17 minutes. For the 1968/69 season he moved to the regional division Wuppertaler SV . In the 1971/72 season, coal reached the promotion round to the Bundesliga with the Wuppertal team after they had become champions in the Regionalliga West. The team under coach Horst Buhtz won all games in the promotion round. In the era of the promotion round (1964–1974) only the Wuppertal made it. In addition to coal, the team included Manfred Müller , Manfred Cremer , Erich Miss , Emil Meisen , Manfred Reichert , Bernd Hermes , Herbert Stöckl , Detlef Webers , Gustav Jung , Günter Pröpper and Heinz-Dieter Lömm . In the next two years coal played in the Bundesliga; in his first season in it he was the second best goalscorer of the WSV behind "Meister Pröpper" with twelve goals. In 1974 he moved to the second division Union Solingen , in his second year with Solingen, relegation could only be avoided at the green table. In 1976, coal moved to his home club VfB Remscheid , which was created in 1971 through the merger of VfB Marathon 06 Remscheid with BV 08 Remscheid .
