Jürgen Rauschel
Jürgen Räusel (born March 2, 1936 in Landeshut (Silesia) , † May 3, 2005 in Berlin ) was a German business journalist and publisher . He gave the ecology movement a critical voice.
Life
Rauschel spent his journalistic “apprenticeship years” from 1963 to 1965 as editor of the DM , a pioneer of consumer protection . In the 1970s, Rauschel lived in Mannheim and was involved in the German Communist Party (DKP) in Ludwigshafen as the editor in charge of the Left Rhine and other DKP small newspapers. On the occasion of his death, a very sensitive obituary appeared in the Berlin Tagesspiegel on July 22, 2005 . It ends with the words: “Jürgen R Noiseel died at his desk. In front of you is Confucius' slogan: 'Choose a job that you love and you never have to work in your life.' "
