Jürgen Stellpflug
Jürgen Stellpflug (born August 15, 1956 in Borgentreich ) is a German journalist , former editor-in-chief and managing director of the magazine Ökotest and chairman of the association Testwatch - The Consumer Users eV
Life
He grew up in Borgentreich and passed his Abitur in 1975 at the grammar school Marianum Warburg . He then studied business administration and political science and initially worked as a freelance journalist and for the taz .
In 1985 he was one of the first employees of the magazine Ökotest, which was initially founded on a cooperative basis, along with Jürgen Rüsselel and others . There he was promoted to editor-in-chief and managing director of the Öko-Test GmbH publishing house and was chairman of the board of the owner company Öko-Test Holding AG .
In April 2018 he was dismissed as editor-in-chief. Then he founded the association Testwatch - The Consumer Users eV and became its chairman.
