Jürgen Zitzer (born February 3, 1952 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Zitzer moved from FV 09 Nürtingen in 1974 to the then reigning German amateur champion SSV Reutlingen 05 . In his first season in Reutlingen Jürgen Zitzer was with the SSV Württemberg amateur champion and in the 1st amateur league Black Forest-Bodensee champion. In the subsequent, successfully completed promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga South , Zitzer was in all six games for Reutlingen. The second division season 1975/76 ended despite four goals from Zitzer in 32 season appearances for the SSV with relegation. In the 1976/77 season he was again Black Forest Lake Constance champion with the Swabians and also scored the first goal of the game in the 2-1 victory of his Reutlingen team against SSV Ulm in 1846 in the final of the Württemberg Amateur Championship. After the repeated championship in the Black Forest-Lake Constance league season 1977/78 Jürgen Zitzer failed with SSV Reutlingen as in the previous year in the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga. In the second division seasons 1979/80 and 1980/81 Zitzer played in the 2nd Bundesliga South for SC Freiburg before ending his career at the age of 29.
