Jürgen Gustav Paridam von dem Knesebeck (born August 5, 1888 in Steglitz , † April 7, 1980 in Bad Mergentheim ) was a German politician of the NSDAP .

Jürgen von dem Knesebeck was born as the son of the landowner and lieutenant colonel Werner von dem Knesebeck. From 1895 to 1897 he attended the community school in Lübben in der Lausitz and was then taught by private teachers until 1900. From 1904 to 1910 he attended the Ilfeld convent school . From 1910 to 1911 he studied law in Heidelberg , where he was a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . He then moved to the University of Halle an der Saale until 1914 . He passed his first state examination in law in 1914 in Halle an der Saale.

In August 1914, Knesebeck registered as a volunteer for field artillery regiment 75 in Halle. On October 18, he joined the 4th Infantry Ammunition Company of the IV Artillery Reserve Regiment. On February 27, 1915, he was transferred to the 3rd Battery of 75th Infantry Artillery Reserve. On August 23, 1916 he was promoted to lieutenant and on September 6, 1916 he was transferred to the 6th battery of Field Artillery Reserve 271. During the war Knesebeck was wounded four times and was awarded the Iron Cross of both classes. From February 2, 1919 to August 2, 1919 Knesebeck was a trainee lawyer in Salzwedel . From August 2, 1919 to November 20, 1919 he was at the district court in Halberstadt . He then worked for the government in Merseburg and the district administrator in Eisleben. After passing the major state examination on July 8, 1922, Knesebeck was transferred to the Schneidemühl government.

On February 6, 1924 Knesebeck came to the district office in Meseritz, from there on October 4, 1924 to the government in Schleswig. In 1925 he was transferred to the government in Trier. On July 22, 1927, he was transferred to the government in Düsseldorf . On April 4, 1928 he was promoted to government councilor. On August 1, 1930, he was finally transferred to the government in Cologne .

In the 1920s, Knesebeck became a member of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP). In the Reichstag elections in September 1930 , he entered the Reichstag , to which he was a member until July 1932, following a proposal by the NSDAP .

Knesebeck left the NSDAP on February 4, 1933. In July 1937, the NSDAP Reich leadership rejected Knesebeck's request for re-entry into the party. After the end of the war, Knesebeck was classified as "exonerated" in the denazification of the Hersfeld Chamber in October 1946. In 1953, in a motion for redress, he asserted that he had been retired for political reasons in October 1933 on the basis of the law to restore the civil service .
