Jürn Jakob Schultze-Berndt (born November 1, 1966 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( CDU ). He was from 1995 to 1999 and has been a member of the Berlin House of Representatives again since 2011 .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1985 at the Evangelical School Frohnau , Schultze-Berndt completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at Herlitz AG in 1986 . From 1988 he studied business administration at the Technical University of Berlin and Dublin City University , which he graduated with a diploma in 1992. Since 1992 he has been working for Assa Abloy Sicherheitstechnik GmbH .

In addition to his professional activity, Schultze-Berndt began to get involved in politics and became a member of the CDU. In the 1995 parliamentary elections, he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives for the first time via the Reinickendorf district list. He left the state parliament at the end of the legislative period in 1999 and was subsequently chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in the Reinickendorf district council until 2011 . In the election for the Berlin House of Representatives in 2011 on September 18, 2011, he succeeded in re-entering the House of Representatives in the Reinickendorf 6 constituency . He defended the direct mandate in the 2016 parliamentary elections . In August 2020, Schultze-Berndt announced that he would not stand again for the next election to the House of Representatives .

Schultze-Berndt is married and has two children.
