The JMB publishing was in 2008 Hannover founded and grew out of a media distribution. The publisher is economically independent. The abbreviation JMB stands for the initials of the publisher's founder Jens M. Bolm.

"So that nothing is lost" is the motto of the JMB Verlag; unusual texts are given the opportunity to be presented. The most comprehensive edition in the publishing house is the "Kabinett der Fantast" (Cabinet of Fantastics), edited by Heiko Postma , a series of fantastic literature by authors of world literature, including Daniel Defoe , Bram Stoker , Robert Louis Stevenson , Lord Byron and Rudyard Kipling .

In the non-fiction genre at JMB Verlag there are especially books with skeptical literature, for example on the conspiracy theory chemtrails , Axel Stoll and generally on the Reich Citizens' Movement . The professor emeritus for alternative medicine Edzard Ernst has published the German edition of his biography in this publishing house.

JMB Verlag's authors include Heiko Postma, Karl Jakob Hirsch , Peter “Bulo” Böhling , Florian Freistetter , Sebastian Bartoschek , Axel Thormählen and the former chairman of the Association of German Writers , Uwe Friesel . From 2012 to 2017 the publisher participated in the Leipzig Book Fair and various smaller book fairs such as the Mainz Minipressen-Messe .
