JSK Architekci is a Polish architecture firm . The company specializes in the design of public buildings (such as airport halls or sports stadiums), but also designs office and other commercial properties. The company's headquarters are in Warsaw at 18 Ż Wirki i Wigury Street ; Branches are maintained in Wroclaw and Poznan .

history

JSK Architekci was founded in 1998 by the Polish architects Zbigniew Pszczulny (since 1981 with Helmut Hentrich , HPP Hentrich Petschigg & Partner , in Düsseldorf) and Mariusz Rutz (since 1987 employed by Otto Steidle's Munich architecture office and later at Henn GmbH ) .

The Warsaw office was initially established as a branch of the German architecture studio JSK , which was founded in 1980, and operated branches in Wroclaw and Sopot . The abbreviation ( Helmut Willy J oos , Reinhard W. S chulze and Karsten K rüger-Heyden) went over on the Polish office. In later years JSK Germany split up , in 2010 the architectural office Sop Architekten was established in Düsseldorf with the participation of Pszczulny; the Polish office continued under the original name.

Projects

One focus of the work of JSK Architekci is the design for large public transport and sports facility projects. The company realized airport terminals in Wroclaw and Gdansk, railway cargo terminals and logistics centers for goods traffic as well as sports stadiums in Warsaw and Wroclaw. Especially when Infratstrukturschaffung in preparation for organized in Poland and Ukraine European Football Championship 2012 was JSK Architekci prominently involved. Conference centers , shopping centers and office facilities are also designed. The latter include the headquarters of Mercedes-Benz Polska and the 90,000 square meter Business Garden Office Park complex in Warsaw, where JSK is based. The project for Maszt Wolności also comes from the studio.
