Jack Emery

Jack Emery (actually Carl Allen John Emery; born December 27, 1913 in Longton , Staffordshire ; † 2013 ) was a British medium and long-distance runner .

At the International University Games in 1937, he won silver over 1500 m .

In 1938 he won the Cross of Nations for England . At the European Athletics Championships in Paris he was fourth over 5000 m .

In 1938 and 1939 he was English champion over three miles .
