Jack Leconte (born November 19, 1959 in Caen ) is a former French car racing driver , racing team owner and entrepreneur.

Larbre Compétition

In 1988 Jack Leconte founded his own racing team based in Le Vigeant . The workshops are located at the Circuit du Val de Vienne , a permanent race track in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . Larbre Compétition was and is a very successful racing team in international GT racing, with an abundance of class wins and overall championship victories.

Career as a driver

Leconte's career began as a driver in the French Porsche Cup in 1990 . He celebrated successes in the 24-hour race of Le Mans and the 24-hour race of Spa-Francorchamps . His best placement at Le Mans was 16th overall in 1993 . In Spa he finished the race in 1993 in fifth place in the overall standings. Team partners in the BMW M1 were Ferdinand de Lesseps and Pierre de Thoisy . His greatest achievement was overall victory in the 1997 Nogaro 3-hour race .
