Jack Pierce (born September 23, 1962 in Cherry Hill , New Jersey ) is a former American track and field athlete whose specialty was the 110-meter hurdles .

Sporting successes

At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona Pierce won the bronze medal behind Mark McKoy and Tony Dees in 13.26 seconds - at the same time as fourth-placed Tony Jarrett . The year before, he had won the silver medal at the World Championships in Tokyo in 13.06 seconds at the same time as Greg Foster after a photo finish decision. At the same time, Pierce took third place at the 1993 World Championships in Stuttgart behind Colin Jackson and Tony Jarrett (13.00 seconds), who set world records in 12.91 seconds .
