Tony Jarrett
Tony Jarrett (born August 13, 1968 in Enfield , England ) is a retired British athlete.
Jarrett was one of the world's best 110m hurdles sprinters from the late 1980s to the late 1990s . However, he was in the shadow of his compatriot Colin Jackson throughout his career and could never win against him at the Olympic Games or World Championships. Nevertheless, he collected numerous medals at these events.
With the Olympic Games 2000 in Sydney and the 2001 World Championships in Athletics in Edmonton he tried last time to win a major title of his career at the end. However, failed both times due to false starts that led to his disqualification.
