Jack Potts

Jack Potts (actually John Henry Soulsby Potts; born September 17, 1906 in Tanfield , County Durham , † April 25, 1987 in Shurdington , Gloucestershire ) was a British long-distance and obstacle runner .

In 1934 he was starting for England at the British Empire Games in London fifth over six miles . At the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936 , he did not reach the goal over 10,000 m .

In 1931 and 1936 he was the English cross-country champion, in 1932 over three miles and in 1938 over two miles obstacle.
