Jackie Herring (* 11. October 1985 in DeForest as Jacqueline Arendt ) is an American triathlete and Ironman -Siegerin (2013).

Career

Jackie Arendt studied at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse . Before she turned to triathlon, she was active in swimming.

Arendt started her first Ironman in 2008 and has been a professional triathlete since 2010. She has already qualified four times for a starting place at the World Championships - at the Ironman Hawaii (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running) - and she achieved her best place in 2009 with 40th place (fourth in the age group W25-29).

In 2013 she won the Ironman Wisconsin . In October 2014 she married Mark Hering and the two live in Madison, Wisconsin . Their son was born in March 2016. Jackie Hering now also works as a coach.
