Jacky Peeters (born December 13, 1969 in Bree ) is a former Belgian football player .

Life

Peeters began his professional career at KVV Overpelt Fabriek . In 1994 he moved to KRC Genk . With the club in 1996 succeeded in promotion to the Pro League . In 1998 he left the club as Belgian runner-up and went to Germany to join Arminia Bielefeld . With the club he rose to the Bundesliga . After missing relegation, Peeters returned to Belgium and signed with KAA Gent . At the beginning of the 2004/05 season he moved to KVV Heusden-Zolder in the fourth Belgian league.

Peeters was a Belgian international . Since his debut in the 5-5 draw against the Netherlands on September 4, 1999, he has played 17 times for the Red Devils . He was part of the Belgian squad at the European Championships in 2000 and the World Cup in 2002 .
