Jacqueville is a hamlet in the French commune of Amponville in the Seine-et-Marne department of the Île-de-France region . The place is located in the Gâtinais Français Regional Nature Park , about one kilometer north of Amponville. Jacqueville can be reached via the D36a.
history
The place belonged to the manorial rule of the Knights Templar and was under the Commanderie Beauvais-en-Gâtinais since 1262/64, today in the area of the municipality Grez-sur-Loing
From the Revolution to 1841, Jacqueville was an independent parish, which was incorporated into the parish of Amponville on May 12, 1841.
