Jaffa , also known as Jaffa Crvenka , is a Serbian food company with headquarters in the small town of Crvenka that produces confectionery and other foods .

The company, founded in 1975, is now one of the leading confectionery manufacturers in Southeast Europe , whose products are produced using the HACCP concept . This is a preventive system designed to ensure the safety of food and consumers. The confectionery is also produced in accordance with the Halāl standard, as well as the international ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 standards for quality management systems for food safety.

The company is known for its Jaffa cakes , but above all for the product Munchmallow , a light dessert that consists of a soft base layer of biscuits and a filling made of egg whites and a chocolate coating . Munchmallows are popular in the successor countries of Yugoslavia and are among the most popular consumer goods of Yugoslav nostalgia .

The company was founded in 1975 on the initiative of several business people from the area around the small town of Crvenka . Initially, the focus was on the production of pastries, but since 1976 the company has specialized in the production of Jaffa cakes , which quickly became popular in the former Yugoslavia. Since 1981 the production of the Munchmallow began , which became just as popular. In 2000 the company expanded its product range. Today the company is one of the leading confectionery manufacturers in Southeast Europe , whose products are also available in Germany , England , Spain , UAE , USA and Australia .
