Hunting authority
Hunting authorities are administrative authorities that are locally and materially responsible for the enforcement of hunting regulations , including federal laws, and the respective state hunting laws and the ordinances issued on the basis of these laws.
Germany
Since the implementation of the federal laws and thus also the Federal Hunting Act is basically a matter for the federal states, the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection is not the hunting authority with regard to the implementation of the Federal Hunting Act. The organization of the hunting administration is regulated differently in the individual federal states. In general there is the Lower Hunting Authority , whose local area of responsibility corresponds to the city or county . The higher hunting authority (also upper hunting authority or middle hunting authority ) corresponds to the area of responsibility of the administrative district , the highest hunting authority to the responsible ministry or state ministry or senator. As a rule, the Supreme Hunting Authority has only a few administrative powers, but handles the general and nationally important hunting law and hunting policy tasks.
