The Ecology Yearbook is a yearbook that has been published since 1992. The editors are Maja Göpel, Heike Leitschuh, Achim Brunnengräber, Pierre Ibisch , Reinhard Loske, Michael Müller, Jörg Sommer and Ernst U. von Weizsäcker . An advisory board and a number of scientific institutes accompany the selection of topics and authors. The series was published by Verlag CH Beck, Munich, from its beginning in 1992 to the year 2008, and since then by Verlag S. Hirzel, Stuttgart.

The Ecology Yearbook provides information on the ecological situation and the pollution trends in the various areas of the natural environment, analyzes and criticizes state and international environmental policy.
