Jaime Alexander Cuartas Medina (born October 28, 1975 in Bello ) is a Colombian chess player .
He played for Colombia at seven Chess Olympiads : 2002 to 2014 .
He played club chess in Spain for UE Montcada .
In 2005 he was awarded the title of International Master (IM). The title of Grand Master (GM) was awarded to him in 2009.
