Jake Kumerow (born February 17, 1992 in Bartlett , Illinois ) is an American football player. He plays in the National Football League (NFL) for the Green Bay Packers as a wide receiver .

Career

Kumerow played high school football at South Elgin High School . He then moved to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater . After graduation, he did not participate in the NFL draft for the 2015 season.

On May 8, 2015, he was hired as a free agent by the Cincinnati Bengals . After several injuries, his contract was not renewed after the 2017 season without playing a game.

On October 26th, he signed a new contract with the New England Patriots for the Practice Squad . However, he was released on November 9th.

He was then able to sign a contract with the Green Bay Packers . After an injury, he was first used in week 13 in the game against the Arizona Cardinals . His first touchdown came on December 23, 2018 in the game against the New York Jets .
