Jacob David Greiff

Jakob David Greiff (born August 16, 1776 in Sinsheim , † August 13, 1865 in Wiesloch ) was a postman in Wiesloch and a member of the Baden state parliament .

Life

Greiff was the son of a pharmacist in Sinsheim, studied pharmacy and took over the family business in 1795 before taking over the post office in Wiesloch in 1804 . In 1821 he took part in the Protestant general synod as a secular deputy and at that time also became a corresponding member of the Baden agricultural association. From 1837 to 1840 he was a member of constituency 32 (Wiesloch and Neckargemünd) of the II. Baden Landtag Chamber .

His son Karl David Greiff followed him as postman. His son Gustav Greiff was also a member of Baden.
