Jakob Neser (born December 30, 1883 in Friesenheim as Jacob Neser , † May 25, 1965 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) was a German wrestler from the early days of modern wrestling.

Jakob Neser, son of factory worker Konrad Neser, comes from the wrestling stronghold of Friesenheim near Ludwigshafen am Rhein. As a young man he came to wrestle and developed into an important tournament wrestler in the period shortly before and after the First World War . As was customary at the time, he only wrestled in the Greco-Roman style (GR). He weighed between 88 and 90 kg and competed in the heavyweight division (S), whereby it should be noted that the weight class divisions fluctuated even more frequently at that time.
