Jakob von Landshut (master builder)

Jakob of Landshut , and Jacob of Landshut and Jacques de Landshut called (* 1450 in Landshut , † 1509 in Strasbourg ) was a German architect who along the Rhine in the Rheingau , in Rheinhessen ( Kurmainz ), the Palatinate and in Alsace worked Has. From 1494 to 1509, he was in charge of the work on the Strasbourg cathedral as head of the cathedral construction works.
