Jakub Bejnarowicz (* 1980 in Ostrów, Poland ) is a German - Polish cameraman .

Life

Jakub Bejnarowicz's family moved from Poland to Germany in 1983. In 2001 he returned to Warsaw to study at the local film academy. From 2003 he then studied film at the "Konrad Wolf" Academy for Film and Television .

The short film Desert / Outside / Day (director: Mia Grau) earned him a nomination for the German Camera Prize 2010. His diploma film Entzauberungen (Director: Andreas Pieper) was nominated for the 2010 First Steps Award for the special camera award. It followed The river was once a man (director: Jan Zabeil), which was filmed with a very small team and Alexander Fehling in the lead role in the Okavango Delta . The film celebrated great success at the San Sebastian Film Festival . Jakub Bejnarowicz shot Gnade and the crime scene Die Ballade von Cenk und Valerie with Matthias Glasner .
