reception

In his foreword to Drábik's Slovak monograph Fašizmus , published in 2019, Roger Griffin judges that this could be a “breakthrough work” for Slovak and Czech fascism research. Griffin recognizes it as a "noble gift for Slovak and Czech historians of the twentieth century, because it gives them a quick guide to the latest developments in comparative studies on fascism". According to Griffin, Drábik's monograph “surpasses and updates” Stanley Payne's standard work A History of Fascism: 1914–1945 in reflecting the growing acceptance of the “new consensus” in fascism research and a considerable focus on the development of fascism after World War II lays.
