Jakub Kamiński (born June 5, 2002 in Ruda Śląska ) is a Polish football player who is under contract with the first division club Lech Posen . The winger has been a Polish U19 international since September 2019 .

Career

Jakub Kamiński, born in Ruda Śląska , began his football training at Szombierki Bytom and moved to the youth department of Lech Poznan in 2015 . There he played in various junior teams and often played with significantly older players. In the 2017/18 season he played for the U19 for the first time and won the U19 championship with them. In the following season 2018/19 the winger was one of the top performers of the U19s at the age of 16 and was promoted to the reserve team in March 2019, which played in the fourth-highest Polish division . At the end of the season he was in 13 appearances (6 goals) in the U19 and 11 league games (3 goals) in the reserve, with which he rose to the third highest Polish division .

On September 20, 2019 (9th matchday) he made his debut in the 1-1 draw against Jagiellonia Białystok in the Ekstraklasa . As a result, he quickly established himself as a regular in the first team. On June 6, 2020 (28th matchday), he scored his first league goal for Lech Poznan in a 3-3 draw against Zagłębie Lubin .

National team

Between September 2017 and May 2018, Jakub Kamiński played 13 friendly international matches for the Polish U16 national team , in which he scored four goals. From October 2018 to March he played eight times for the U18 and did not score in those games.

He has been a Polish U19 international since September 2019 .
