The Jalaur ( eng .: Jalaur River ) is a river in the province of Iloilo in the Philippines . It rises from the Central Panay Mountains on the eastern slopes of Mount Baloy. The Jalaur has a length of 123 km and a water catchment area of 1503 km², which covers most of the north and west of the province of Iloilo in the southeast of the island of Panay .
From its source, in the province of Antique , the Jalaur flows eastward in a wide river valley. Its main tributaries are the Lamunan, Ulian and Suague. From its confluence with the Lamunan, in the municipality of Dueñas , the Jalaur changes its direction of flow from east to south, heading towards the Guimaras Strait , which it reaches near the municipality of Leganes .
