James Byng

James Byng , actually James Malcolm (born May 23, 1985 in London ) is a British actor and singer .

Life

James Byng first appeared on stage in London's West End when he was ten , where he made his debut in the title role of Oliver! at the London Palladium . In the same role he was on Oliver's England tour ! and at the benefit gala Hey! Mr. Producer held at the Lyceum Theater on June 8, 1998 in honor of theater producer Cameron Mackintosh . In Les Misérables he played the role of Gavroche in the Palace Theater . From 2007, James was seen on stage at the Theater Royal Drury Lane , where he first played various ensemble roles and then took on the role of Frodo Baggins in Matthew Warchus ' stage version of The Lord of the Rings . In 2008/2009, James played John Darling in the musical Peter Pan at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds . Until June 2010 he toured England in the role of Posner in the new production of the play The History Boys by Alan Bennett . James played Nick Willow on the Carrie's War Tour from September to November 2010 .

On television, James starred as George Hawthorne in the remake of Goodbye Mr. Chips starring Martin Clunes , which aired in the UK and US in 2002. In the film Rupert Brockstein's Blood Red Letters he played the role of Montague Bear.

As a jazz singer and presenter, James has been seen and heard at the Starlight Theater , Manchester and the Grove Inn Jazz Club in Leeds .
