James Gunn's PG Porn is a web series by the brothers James Gunn , Brian Gunn and Sean Gunn . It consists of a series of porn movie parodies in which a humorous event happens just before the supposed start of sexual acts. In each episode, well-known actors act with a porn actress. The show's motto is "For people who love everything about porn ... except sex."
The first episode premiered on Spike.com and received over a million views in a week. Spike TV then took over the series for a further 11 episodes.
According to James, they developed the idea in the early 2000s, before short internet skits became popular. Stephen Blackehart of The Good Boys Productions is producing the show with Jake Zim and Peter Safran of Safran Digital Group (SDG) for Spike.com.
James Gunn was nominated for Best Director at the second annual Streamy Awards .
