Sean Gunn (born May 22, 1974 in St. Louis , Missouri ) is an American actor .

life and career

He is the youngest of six children and has four older brothers, including James , all of whom are in the entertainment business. His only sister works as a lawyer.

Sean Gunn attended the Goodman School of Drama and after graduating he lived in Chicago for two years , where he founded a theater company and directed numerous productions. In order to make his dream of becoming an actor come true, he eventually moved to Los Angeles and took on guest roles on series such as Angel and Behind the Moon Immediately Left . In the film Pearl Harbor he played a small role as a sailor. He also had a small role in one episode of the True Jackson (Nick) series.

Sean Gunn's best-known role is that of the eccentric Kirk in the hit series Gilmore Girls . First, Sean Gunn appeared in the second episode of Gilmore Girls as DSL The installing Mick , but then took over the role of in the course of the first season Kirk .

In 2014 he starred in the Marvel hit film Guardians of the Galaxy in the role of Kraglin and was also responsible for the motion capturing of the character Rocket . In 2017 he took over these roles again in the sequel Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 . Both were directed by his brother James. The two previously worked on the web series James Gunn's PG Porn (2008–2009), the film Super - Shut Up, Crime! (2010) and the pilot for the series Humanzee! (2008) together.

Sean Gunn is a huge fan of the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team and plays sports in his spare time.
