James Kennaway

James Peebles Ewing Kennaway (born June 5, 1928 in Auchterarder , Perthshire , † December 21, 1968 in Buckinghamshire , England ) was a Scottish author and screenwriter.

Life

Kennaway went to school at Glenalmond College in his Scottish homeland . After serving in the British Armed Forces, he wrote his first novel, The Tunes of Glory , in which some of his experiences during the service are reflected. More novels, short stories and scripts followed, also on his own subjects.

At the age of 40, Kennaway died of a heart attack while driving his car while driving home to his home in Lechlade , Gloucestershire .
