James Lafferty (2013)

James Martin Lafferty (born July 25, 1985 in Hemet , California ) is an American actor .

Life

Lafferty was born the eldest son of contractor Jeff Lafferty and his wife Angie. When he was still in elementary school, he and his brother Stuart were discovered by a family friend for acting. At the age of seven, Lafferty received his first extras in the television series Picket Fences and in the film Batman's Return .

Afterwards, Lafferty took professional acting lessons and had several appearances in American film and television productions. His biggest success so far is his role as Nathan Scott in the television series One Tree Hill . In 2009 he signed up for two episodes of the show as a director.

As in the One Tree Hill series , Lafferty's passion is basketball.

Since 2015 he has been involved in filming The Royals as a director alongside Mark Schwahn .

In 2018 he started a crowdfunding project with Stephen Colletti to finance his own series called “Everybody's doing great”.
