James Philbrook

James Philbrook (born October 22, 1924 in Davenport (Iowa) , † October 24, 1982 in Los Angeles ) was an American actor .

Philbrook did not come to film until he was over thirty and initially found employment in many television series and in two films alongside Susan Hayward . He had solid engagements in three series ( The Islanders , The Investigators and the Loretta Young Show ).

In the mid-1960s, like many of his colleagues, he went to Europe, where he was cast in several genre films ; but from 1967 onwards there were already fewer offers, and after 1970 he was only seen twice.

Philbrook returned to the United States and died forgotten at a relatively young age.
